Sunshine House to host ‘Burgers & Blessings’ fundraiser in Alpine

Sunshine House Inc. will host a grab-and-go hamburger dinner fundraiser next month, with proceeds supporting senior services in Alpine and Marathon.

The event, titled “Burgers & Blessings,” is scheduled for Monday, May 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sunshine House, 402 E. Holland Ave.

The dinner is being hosted by Maverick Bank, with all proceeds benefiting Sunshine House programs, including its senior center and Meals on Wheels services.

Organizers are encouraging community members to stop by, pick up dinner and support the nonprofit’s mission to provide nutrition and social connection for seniors, the homebound and individuals with disabilities.

The fundraiser is open to the public.
