The grand reopening of the McKinney Park Sprayground has been rescheduled due to weather, with city officials announcing a new date for the public celebration.
The free event will take place Saturday, May 9, from 1 to 7 p.m. at McKinney Park, located at 625 W. Pool Road. The reopening is open to all ages and will feature free access to the sprayground, along with complimentary snacks and drinks for attendees.
Hosted by Odessa Parks and Recreation, the event marks the return of a popular warm-weather attraction designed for families and children to cool off during the summer months.
City officials encouraged residents to attend and enjoy the updated facility, noting that additional information is available at odessa-tx.gov/pools.
