A coalition opposing border wall construction is hosting a landowner-focused meeting Wednesday, April 29, in Presidio.
The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Presidio Activity Center, located at 1200 E. O’Reilly St. Organizers say the session is intended for landowners directly affected by proposed border wall construction and their designated representatives.
According to event materials, the meeting will focus on sharing information, discussing legal and procedural considerations, and providing an opportunity for attendees to ask questions in a confidential setting. Organizers also said information will be available about free or pro bono legal resources.
The session is not open to the general public. A livestream option will be available for those unable to attend in person, with access provided upon request.
A similar meeting is planned for landowners in Terrell and Val Verde counties on May 4 in Sanderson, organizers said.
