Sarah Eckhardt, a candidate for Texas comptroller, is scheduled to host a meet-and-greet Tuesday evening in Marfa.
The event, described as a porch gathering with cocktails, will run from 5 to 7 p.m. April 21 at a private residence on South Gonzalez Street. Organizers say the gathering is intended to give attendees an opportunity to meet Eckhardt and discuss her campaign.
The event will take place at the home of Liz Rogers, located at 801 S. Gonzalez St., according to the invitation. Attendees are asked to RSVP in advance through an online registration link provided by the campaign.
Eckhardt, a former state senator and Travis County judge, is running for Texas comptroller, a statewide office responsible for managing state finances, tax collection and revenue forecasting.
The invitation notes the event is a political advertisement paid for by the Sarah Eckhardt campaign.
