The Big Bend Open Road Race is bringing crowds back to town this week, and a downtown venue is planning a celebration to match.
Centennial Bar & Lounge will host a “Road Race Social” on Thursday, April 23, beginning at 7 p.m., featuring drinks and live music as part of the race week atmosphere.
According to the venue, the event will take place across both floors, offering attendees space to gather during one of the region’s most anticipated annual events. Live music will be provided by John Burns.
The Big Bend Open Road Race draws participants and spectators from across Texas and beyond, boosting local businesses and filling hotels throughout Fort Stockton and surrounding communities.
The Thursday night social adds to a lineup of race-related activities, giving visitors and residents a chance to connect ahead of race events scheduled later in the week.
