A team of students from Iraan-Sheffield Collegiate ISD earned top honors at the Area II Veterinary Medical Contest in San Angelo, capturing the Big Bend District title.
The team — Dylan Evans, Emmalee Johnson, Khloe Noelke and Samuel Sparks — traveled to the competition and secured the district win against other regional programs.
Noelke placed second overall as the district’s high individual scorer, while Sparks finished third in individual standings.
School officials praised the students’ performance, citing their dedication and continued improvement.
The competition is part of agricultural science programs that prepare students for careers in veterinary medicine and related fields.
