The municipal government of Ojinaga has begun a tree-planting initiative aimed at improving urban green spaces and promoting environmental sustainability.
According to a public notice, the city’s Department of Public Services, in coordination with the Ecology department, is planting trees along 20th Street and in the median of Hidalgo Avenue near CETIS 98.
Officials said the effort is part of a broader commitment to environmental stewardship and enhancing public spaces across the city. The project is intended to contribute to a greener, more sustainable Ojinaga while improving the quality of life for residents.
City leaders encouraged the community to take part in caring for the environment and maintaining the newly planted areas.
