Mother’s Day dance celebration set for May 9 at Skelton’s Runway in Alpine

A Mother’s Day dance and celebration featuring live music is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, at Skelton’s Runway.

The event will begin at 8 p.m. and include a performance by Puro Party All Starz, along with activities such as tailgate-style gatherings, contests and vendor booths as part of the Hanger Event Hub series.

Organizers are offering advance wristbands for $10 through a QR code promotion. The venue, located at 300 S. Cockrell St., serves as a drive-thru convenience store, food truck terminal and outdoor music event space.

The celebration is part of ongoing efforts to bring live music and community events to Alpine, with a focus on family-friendly entertainment surrounding the Mother’s Day holiday.
