Chinati Foundation will host its annual Community Day on Sunday, April 26, 2026, offering an afternoon of art, performances and activities celebrating the region’s tri-county community.
The free event, open to all, is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the foundation’s campus in Marfa.
Community Day will include open viewing of Chinati’s permanent collection, along with access to the Judd Foundation’s Ranch Office. Attendees can also view an exhibition featuring artwork by students from Marfa and Presidio independent school districts.
The event will feature a variety of cultural programming, including student poetry readings, workshops, folklórico dance performances and mariachi music. Organizers will also provide free dinner and refreshments for attendees.
