Easter egg hunt set for April 5 at Jeff Davis County Park in Fort Davis

An Easter egg hunt is scheduled for Sunday, April 5, at Jeff Davis County Park in Fort Davis, with activities planned for families throughout the day.

The event will begin at 1:30 p.m., and organizers are encouraging attendees to bring a canned good to support the Jeff Davis County Food Pantry.

Earlier in the day, a sunrise service hosted by the Jeff Davis County Ministerial Alliance will take place at 6:45 a.m. at Fort Davis National Historic Site.

The afternoon event will include hot dogs for children, appearances by Fort Davis Fire and EMS personnel, and music from DJ Yasmine Guevara.
