Texas Department of Public Safety troopers recently conducted Field Force Operations (FFO) training in Van Horn aimed at strengthening coordination and response capabilities for large-scale incidents.
According to DPS, the training was led by Sgt. Lopez and focused on tactics, teamwork and coordination among troopers to improve readiness during major public safety situations.
The exercises were hosted with support from Van Horn Independent School District, which provided facilities that helped make the training possible.
DPS officials said ongoing training is essential to ensuring troopers remain prepared to serve and protect communities across Texas.
