The Marathon Public Library is inviting community members to learn a new craft with a weekly yarn arts class beginning this spring.
The program will take place every Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m., starting March 3, and will focus on teaching participants how to crochet. Organizers say all materials will be provided, and people of all skill levels are welcome to attend.
The class is designed as a relaxed, hands-on opportunity for beginners to learn basic crochet techniques while more experienced crafters can work on projects and share tips with others.
Library organizers describe the program as a chance to build community while learning a creative skill, noting that the activity is “knot just another hobby.”
The Marathon Public Library is located at 106 NE Third St. in Marathon. More information is available by calling (432) 386-4136.
