Dirks-Anderson Elementary School will host a book fair this week in the school library, with activities scheduled for students during the school day and opportunities for families to attend.
The event runs Monday through Thursday, according to an announcement from Fort Davis Independent School District. Students will visit the fair with their classes and may schedule additional visits as needed.
Parents are invited to attend with their children during lunch periods each day and during a special evening session Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
During the evening hours, families are asked to park in the school lot and enter through the doors near the library.
The book fair is part of the school’s efforts to promote reading and provide students access to new books.
