The Alpine ISD junior varsity boys golf team captured first place at a tournament in Marfa, posting a combined team score of 452, according to a district social media update.
Thaddeus Prieto led the Bucks with a 102 and earned a third-place individual medal. Colt Billings shot a 108, Wyatt Warren carded a 120 and Tripp Warren finished with a 122.
Alpine’s first-place finish secured the team championship at the Marfa event.
The district congratulated the players in its announcement, praising the team’s performance.
