A Chihuahua race event is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, in Terlingua Ghost Town, with small dogs of all breeds invited to participate, according to an announcement shared by the Big Bend Chamber of Commerce.
Registration is set to begin at 10 a.m., with a $10 fee per participant. Organizers said mixed-breed small dogs are also welcome to compete.
The event is being presented by the Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend.
The races are planned to take place in Terlingua Ghost Town.
