U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Marfa Station seized multiple narcotics shipments over several days, with an estimated value exceeding $2.6 million, according to a recent announcement from the U.S. Border Patrol Big Bend Sector.
Officials reported the seizures included 67 pounds of methamphetamine, 5 pounds of heroin and 40 pounds of marijuana. The agency said partnerships with other law enforcement entities contributed to the operation’s success.
The announcement was shared by U.S. Border Patrol Big Bend Sector in coordination with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
