A downtown Fort Stockton venue is preparing to celebrate the Lunar New Year with an evening market featuring local vendors, shopping and entertainment later this month.
Centennial Bar & Lounge, located at 123 N. Main St., will host a Lunar New Year pop-up market on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. The event will take place on the second floor of the business and is expected to include a mix of small vendors, specialty goods and a festive atmosphere designed to mark the seasonal celebration.
Organizers are promoting the gathering as an opportunity for visitors to browse unique items, connect with local makers and enjoy drinks while exploring the venue. The Lunar New Year, observed in many Asian cultures, is traditionally associated with renewal, prosperity and community celebrations, often featuring decorations, symbolic imagery and social gatherings.
