The Alpine Bucks and Lady Bucks powerlifting teams continued their solid season with another strong showing at a recent meet in Kermit.
Multiple Alpine athletes reached the podium, highlighted by first-place finishes from Vianney Santos and Arturo Santos. Gus Thompson and Dane Jeffress each earned second place in their respective divisions, while Reuel Portillo secured a third-place finish.
Additional top-five performances came from Naida Morris and Destiny Salguero, who both placed fourth, and Trinity Vega, who finished fifth.
As the regular season nears its conclusion, Alpine’s lifters are building momentum with improving totals and consistent competition results. The Kermit meet added to a growing list of podium finishes for both the boys and girls teams this year.
