Personnel from Terlingua Fire & EMS joined residents at a community health fair this week, offering hands-on demonstrations and health education to families in the area.
The event brought together children, parents and first responders for an interactive day focused on wellness, safety and emergency preparedness. Fire and EMS staff set up stations where attendees could learn about basic medical equipment, blood pressure monitoring and emergency response techniques.
Photos shared by the department showed students observing CPR demonstrations, learning how medical devices are used and participating in supervised activities designed to introduce them to first aid and rescue work. Younger children were also given opportunities to ask questions and interact with responders.
