Jeff Davis County Library to Offer Valentine Craft Program

The Jeff Davis County Library will host a hands-on Valentine-themed activity this week, inviting residents of all ages to take part in a creative afternoon centered on handmade cards and messages.

The program is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 13, and will run from noon to 2 p.m. Participants may arrive at any point during the two-hour window to work on their projects at their own pace.

Library staff will provide materials for guests to design personalized Valentine cards, write letters, compose poems, and experiment with other forms of creative expression. The event is intended to offer a relaxed environment where community members can explore artistic ideas while preparing thoughtful gifts for friends and family.

The program is free to attend and is supported by the Friends of the Library organization, which helps fund special activities and resources for the facility.

Library officials encourage residents to stop by, whether they plan to stay for a few minutes or the full session. The event is designed to be informal and accessible, welcoming both individuals and families.

The Valentine craft program is part of the library’s ongoing effort to provide educational and recreational opportunities that bring the community together through shared activities and seasonal traditions.
