Monahans Chamber Honors Community Leaders at 73rd Annual Banquet

The Monahans Chamber of Commerce recognized local leaders, volunteers and organizations during its 73rd Annual Chamber Banquet, celebrating contributions that continue to strengthen the community.

The annual event honored individuals for leadership, service and commitment to Monahans, highlighting the chamber’s more than seven decades of community involvement.

Recipients of the Outgoing Director Award were Adam Steen, Patsy Cutbirth, Nancy Upchurch and Leticia Rodriguez. Outstanding Directors for 2025 were named as Randy Crabtree and Christian Chavez.

Carleigh Ennis received Ambassador of the Year honors, while Noel Crabtree was recognized as the 2025 Women’s Division Member of the Year. Victor Cano was presented with the 2025 Youth Leadership Award.

The 2025 Meric Awards were awarded to Monahans Greater Works and the Monahans Lions Club. Debbie Riley received the 2025 Outstanding Citizen Award.

A special plaque was also presented to Brooks Landgraf in recognition of his continued support of local businesses, economic development and community initiatives.

Chamber officials said each honoree reflects the values that have guided the organization for more than 70 years, including service, integrity and leadership.

“Their dedication and commitment exemplify what makes Monahans strong,” the chamber said in a statement.

The chamber also thanked sponsors, members and volunteers for supporting the event and helping maintain the banquet as a longstanding community tradition.
