The Lady Bucks of Alpine Independent School District closed out their regular basketball season with a road victory in Anthony, Texas, highlighted by a major career milestone from senior Gyllian Morrissey.
Morrissey scored her 500th career point during the game, becoming one of the program’s top scorers and earning recognition from teammates, coaches and the school community.
Following the win, players posed for a photo holding a banner commemorating Morrissey’s achievement. School officials praised her dedication and leadership, noting the milestone reflects years of commitment to the program.
The victory capped a successful regular season for the Lady Bucks as they prepare for postseason play.
