Marathon Public Library to Host ‘Knowledge Night’ on Spirit Distilling

The Marathon Public Library will host a special “Knowledge Night” program on Thursday, Feb. 12, featuring a presentation on spirit distilling by Cody Roberts, founder of Desert Ghost Distilling.

The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the library and is open to the public.

According to event organizers, Roberts will provide an inside look at the distilling process, offering attendees insight into how spirits are produced, from raw ingredients to finished products. The program is part of the library’s ongoing “Knowledge Night” series, which highlights educational and cultural topics relevant to the community.

Library officials said the program is intended to combine learning with local entrepreneurship, giving residents an opportunity to hear directly from a regional business leader.

The Marathon Public Library is located at 106 NE Third St. and regularly hosts community programs, workshops, and educational events.
