Presidio ISD Culinary Arts students showcase skills during School Board Appreciation Month

Students in the Culinary Arts program at Presidio ISD marked School Board Appreciation Month with a hands-on presentation that highlighted both their technical skills and cross-program collaboration.

Culinary Arts students prepared and presented charcuterie boards for members of the Presidio ISD school board, using the opportunity to share highlights from the activities and projects they have completed throughout the school year. The presentation also included words of thanks to Ms. Green for her continued dedication and support of the Culinary Arts program.

The boards themselves were crafted by Mr. Mohler’s Woodshop class, making the event a collaborative effort between Career and Technical Education programs. The partnership showcased how students across disciplines can work together to create professional-quality results.

District staff noted that the project reflected a year of creativity, collaboration, and applied learning, while giving students a chance to demonstrate real-world skills in food preparation, presentation, and teamwork.

The event served as both a gesture of appreciation for board members and a celebration of student achievement within Presidio ISD’s CTE programs.
