FBI-LEEDA will host its Media & Public Relations (MPR) course in Pecos this summer, offering a four-and-a-half-day professional training seminar focused on communication, transparency and public trust in law enforcement.
The course will be held July 13–17, 2026, at the Pecos Police Department, located at 172 Raul Florez Blvd. in Pecos.
Designed for public safety professionals, the FBI-LEEDA MPR program emphasizes practical strategies for engaging with the media and the public, particularly during high-pressure or crisis situations. The seminar is highly interactive and centers on promoting a consistent, positive and ethical public image for agencies and individual officers alike.

Public perception and the media Media relations Crisis communications Social media use Integrating communication strategies during critical incidents
