Brisket, Taters and Tunes fundraiser set to benefit 2026 Terlingua Pet Clinic

A community fundraiser supporting the 2026 Terlingua Pet Clinic is set for Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, with food, live music, adoptable pets, and family-friendly activities planned for the evening.

Brisket, Taters and Tunes will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Venga, located at 45 Kempf Rd. in Terlingua. Meals will be served by donation, with proceeds helping support the upcoming Terlingua Pet Clinic effort.

The event will also feature adoptable pets on site through One Tail at a Time, giving attendees an opportunity to meet animals looking for homes while supporting a local cause.

Live music will be provided by Two Crows for Comfort, and a cash bar will be available through The Ritchey, Alpine.

Additional activities listed for the fundraiser include pet products for sale and a pet costume contest, making the event a mix of community giving and laid-back entertainment in the heart of the Big Bend.
