Spicewood, a longtime dining and gathering spot in Alpine, announced it will no longer serve dinner and will transition to a bar-only setup moving forward.
In a social media update shared with customers, the business said it will remain open for happy hour beginning immediately, but food offerings will be limited to chips and queso. No other appetizers will be available.
Under the new schedule, the bar will operate Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Spicewood’s update encouraged local residents and visitors to stop by for drinks and community, signaling the venue will continue to serve as a social space even as its full dinner service comes to an end.
