Fort Davis Independent School District announced that it is mourning the loss of one of its students, a tragedy that has deeply impacted the school community.
In a statement released by the district, officials expressed their condolences to the student’s family and friends, noting that the loss has been profoundly felt across campus. The district encouraged students, staff, and families to come together in support of one another during this difficult time and to remember the joy and light the student brought to those around them.
Fort Davis ISD also confirmed that counseling services are being made available for students and staff who may need additional support as the community navigates the grieving process.
