Fort Stockton Invites Community to Ring in 2026 With Polar Plunge at Comanche Springs Pool

Fort Stockton residents are invited to kick off the new year with a splash at the Comanche Springs Pool Polar Plunge, set for Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at 10 a.m.

The free, family-friendly event will take place at Comanche Springs Pool, where participants are encouraged to take “one big jump” into the pool to welcome the new year. Whether warm or cold, the plunge begins promptly at 10 a.m.

Organizers say the event is open to all ages, but swim attire is required for anyone entering the water. Families are encouraged to attend together and cheer on participants.

There is no cost to participate, making it an accessible way for the community to celebrate the start of 2026.
