Visitors to Davis Mountains State Park can explore one of Texas’ most unique historic structures during an Indian Lodge Tour on Friday, Jan. 2, from 4 to 5 p.m.
The guided walk begins at the Indian Lodge gift shop and focuses on the history of the CCC-built adobe hotel, often described as the only hotel located within a Texas state park. The tour includes multiple sets of steps and offers insight into the lodge’s architectural and cultural significance.
The program is open to the public and is recommended for those interested in Texas history and New Deal–era construction.
