Live Music, New Year’s Eve Celebration Planned at The Boathouse in Terlingua

The Boathouse Bar & Bungalows will host a New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 31 at its Terlingua Ghost Town location, featuring live music and a midnight countdown to welcome 2026.

The event will feature performances by The Lucky Stars, with Marc Utter, Bruce Salmon, Moses Martinez and Van Smith, along with special guest appearances by Bill Palmer and Wayne Sutton, according to the venue.

The celebration will take place at The Boathouse, located at 390 Ivey Road in Terlingua Ghost Town, a longtime gathering place for locals, river guides and visitors to the Big Bend region.

Organizers describe the event as a live-music-centered New Year’s Eve gathering, with doors opening earlier in the evening ahead of the countdown at midnight.
