Presidio Police Department hosts first Blue Santa gift drive for senior center

The Presidio Police Department marked its first Blue Santa initiative this week, delivering gifts and treats to the local senior center.

According to the department, officers distributed holiday items as part of the effort, which was made possible through donations and support from local businesses and community partners. Those contributors included Ruidosa Hot Springs LLC, Alpha Mechanical Fabrication LLC, PI Tequila, OTC Trucking & Logistics LLC and PISD Police treat boxes.

The department thanked donors and staff for their assistance and support, noting hopes to continue the Blue Santa program in the future.

The Presidio Police Department shared the update in a social media post, wishing the community happy holidays.
