The Iraan Wellness Center is inviting residents to help brighten the holidays for local children as it kicks off its 12th annual Angel Tree Project.
Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 19, community members can stop by the center to “adopt” an angel from the tree and purchase Christmas gifts for a child in need. The long-running program has become a staple of the holiday season in Iraan, connecting generous donors with families who could use a little extra cheer.
Each angel ornament represents a local child, along with details to help donors select thoughtful, age-appropriate gifts. Participants can pick up an ornament during regular business hours and return unwrapped gifts to the center before the program’s deadline.
Staff say the project continues to grow each year, thanks to steady support from residents who want to make a difference during the holidays.
