The Marathon Public Library has launched a $10,000 fall matching challenge from the Fasken Foundation, giving donors the opportunity to double their impact in supporting literacy programs and access to books for children.
Library staff said the campaign helps sustain essential programs that serve both public and homeschooled students in Marathon, providing access to stories, resources, and a safe learning space. One young reader recently shared that her favorite book, The Hunger Games, makes her feel “hopeful.”
Donations can be made online at marathonpubliclibrary.org/donate, by mail to P.O. Box 177, Marathon, TX 79842, or in person at the library.
