The Presidio County Sheriff’s Office announced that the individual involved in this morning’s incident at the Presidio ISD Track Field has been located and taken into custody.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement was able to identify and locate the subject with the help of community notifications and public input. Earlier in the day, authorities had asked for assistance in finding a man described as being in his 20s, wearing blue jeans, a white muscle shirt, and steel-toe boots, and noted for having tattoos on both arms and a distinctive neck tattoo.
In a statement, the Sheriff’s Office thanked residents for their vigilance and cooperation:
“Thank you for your support and vigilance during these challenging times.”
No further details about the incident or the individual’s identity have been released as of Thursday afternoon.
