The Borderlands Research Institute at Sul Ross State University will host Birding the Big Bend on Friday, Nov. 14, offering participants the opportunity to explore some of the region’s most scenic and biodiverse habitats.
Stops on the guided birding excursion include East Rim Ranch and Christmas Mountains Oasis, two premier sites for observing native and migratory species.
Registration is limited to 12 participants, and all experience levels are welcome. Special hotel rates are available for attendees at the Holland Hotel and the Maverick Inn, with details provided upon registration.
The event encourages both new and seasoned birders to experience the Big Bend’s unique wildlife and landscapes.
