Author Michael S. Price to appear with live reptiles Sept. 20 in Alpine

Front Street Books will host author Michael S. Price on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. for a presentation, book signing and live reptile demonstration.

Price is the author of Reptiles of the Trans-Pecos Texas, an illustrated field guide to turtles, lizards and snakes found in nine Far West Texas counties, including areas such as Davis Mountains State Park, Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Big Bend National Park.

The event will feature a Q&A session, opportunities to meet live reptiles, and signed copies of Price’s book.

Front Street Books is located at 121 E. Holland Ave., Alpine.
