The Fort Davis High School cross country team is lacing up for an exciting 2025 season, with a packed schedule that will take athletes across West Texas and beyond.
The season began August 27 with the Red Rock Run in Van Horn, followed by the Oasis in the Desert meet in Balmorhea on September 6. Next up, the Indians will compete at the Big Bend Rumble in Alpine on September 13, then head to Marfa for the Desert Stampede on September 17.
September closes with the Terlingua Fun-Run on the 24th, giving runners another chance to test their speed and endurance. October will be a pivotal month, with the District Meet set for October 8 in Marfa, followed by Regionals in Grand Prairie on October 21. The season wraps up with the State Championship in Round Rock on October 31.
