Monahans Lighted Christmas Parade Set for Dec. 5 with New Route

The Monahans Chamber of Commerce has announced details for this year’s Merry Christmas, America! Lighted Christmas Parade, scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

Organizers reminded participants of a few key rules:

“Leave the Santa suit at home — the REAL Santa will be in the parade!” No candy or objects of any kind may be thrown along the route. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries.

This year features a new parade route: beginning at the Million Barrel Museum, heading north to Sealy Avenue, east to Parkway, and finishing at the Ward County Event Center.

“Let’s light up the night with holiday spirit, hometown pride, and a dash of Christmas magic!” the Chamber posted.
