Lady Bucks Earn 3rd Place in Bronze Bracket at Nita Vannoy Memorial Tournament

The Alpine Lady Bucks volleyball team competed over the weekend in the Nita Vannoy Memorial Tournament, a 27-team event that tested teams across pool and bracket play.

After pool play on Friday, where Alpine dropped two of three matches, the Lady Bucks were placed in the Bronze Bracket. They battled back strong, finishing 2-1 in bracket play to claim third place overall in their division.

Head coach Linda Morris praised her squad’s commitment and development, noting that the players are focusing on defensive responsibilities, serve receive work, and building team communication and energy.

The Lady Bucks continue their season with determination, working toward stronger results as district play approaches.
