A group from the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Recreational Sports program volunteered at Davis Mountains State Park this month, assisting with trail maintenance and improvements.
According to park staff, the volunteers worked on clearing and sprucing up trails and became familiar with local vegetation, including catclaw acacia and yucca.
The park thanked the group for their time and effort and said they look forward to welcoming them back in the future.
