The Alpine Bucks will take the field at home this Friday, August 22, in a much-anticipated matchup against the visiting Pecos Eagles. With JV kicking off at 6:00 p.m. and varsity action starting at 7:00 p.m., Bucks Stadium is set to come alive with the sights, sounds, and spirit of Texas high school football.
The Bucks are looking to start strong as they take on a competitive Pecos squad in this early-season test. After weeks of preseason drills, strategy sessions, and conditioning, Alpine’s athletes are ready to showcase their hard work in front of a home crowd that never fails to show up in force.
Fans can expect a high-energy game as Alpine leans into its trademark grit, discipline, and aggressive play calling. The team’s defensive unit is looking sharp in practice, while the offense has been building rhythm and confidence heading into Friday night. With the support of the community behind them, the Bucks are aiming to set the tone for the 2025–2026 season.
Adding to the hometown atmosphere, the Alpine All Sports Boosters will be on-site selling official merchandise, giving fans a chance to gear up and show their purple and gold pride.
