A regional sustainability milestone was reached this week as tire shredding equipment from ECO Green Equipment arrived at the Reeves County Road & Bridge Department yard, marking a major step forward in the county’s long-term effort to combat illegal tire dumping and promote eco-conscious waste solutions.
The delivery represents a turning point in a project first initiated in 2022, aimed at introducing modern, environmentally responsible tire disposal methods to Reeves County and the wider Far West Texas region.

Once installed and fully operational, the state-of-the-art shredding system will:
