The legendary Frank X. Tolbert–Wick Fowler Championship Chili Cookoff has been awarded a GO TEXAN Event Grant by the Texas Department of Agriculture, as announced by Commissioner Sid Miller.
The grant recognizes the Original Terlingua International Chili Championship as a premier cultural event that showcases Texas heritage, culinary tradition, and regional tourism. Held annually in the Big Bend region, the cookoff draws chili aficionados from across the country.
