A 25-year-old man from Austin was taken into custody after leading Culberson County deputies on a 40-mile high-speed pursuit, according to a Facebook post by Sheriff Oscar Carrillo.
The chase, which reached speeds exceeding 110 mph, ended safely within the city limits of Van Horn. Deputies captured the incident using newly issued body cameras. No injuries or property damage were reported.
