The City of Presidio has assured residents that the municipal water supply remains safe to drink and free of lead contaminants, despite a public notice recently issued due to a late state reporting submission.
According to city officials, the notice was triggered solely by a delay in submitting a required report to the State of Texas, not because of any issue with water quality. “The City of Presidio has no lead service lines and our water continues to be safe for all uses, including drinking,” the city stated in a public message.
