Alpine Independent School District is hiring for several positions and has approved new compensation increases for the 2025–26 school year, including raises for teachers and support staff, as well as enhanced employee benefits.
The district is currently accepting applications for a secondary art teacher—with potential for theatre arts duties—along with a cafeteria assistant, custodian, and child care lead or assistant. Start dates range from July 1 to August 1. Details and applications are available online at alpine.esc18.net/employment.
The Alpine ISD Board of Trustees approved compensation increases on June 26, 2025. Certified teachers will see salary increases of $4,500, $7,000, or $11,000, depending on eligibility through the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program. Non-certified teachers will receive increases starting at $2,000. Support staff—including child care, cafeteria, custodial, administrative, and transportation personnel—will receive a $4,500 pay increase.
Additional benefits of employment include a district annual health insurance contribution of $3,900 ($325 per month), discounted in-district child care for children ages six weeks to three years, and stipends for areas such as ESL ($1,000), 6–12 math and science ($3,000), special education ($3,000), and advanced degrees.
