Ezekiel Gibbs Paintings, Ralph White Performance at Webb’s Fair & Square This Sunday

Webb’s Fair & Square will host an afternoon of art and music this Sunday, June 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the historic Masonic hall, 105 N. Front St. Music begins at 5:30 p.m.

The event features paintings by the late Ezekiel Gibbs, a Houston native who began painting in his 90s and documented scenes of family, nature, and joy until his passing in 1992 at age 103.

Musician Ralph White — known for his work with experimental bluegrass band the Bad Livers — will perform a solo set to close out his tour. White, now based in Oracle, Arizona, brings a unique blend of banjo, kalimba, saw, and foot percussion to his live performances.
