Alpine High School student-athletes returned to a transformed weight room this week following a major facelift made possible by the hard work of coaches, staff, and students.

The upgrade, aimed at improving the training environment for the Fightin’ Bucks and Lady Bucks, was led by Coach Jerry Dominguez, Coach Marco Gomez, and Mr. Eddie Barraza, who volunteered time and effort to make the improvements. Mr. Chayo Gonzales also played a key role in coordinating supplies for the project.
Student-athletes assisted by moving equipment in and out during the revamp, showing teamwork off the field to help bring the new setup to life.
School officials expressed gratitude for everyone who contributed to the project, saying the improvements reflect a commitment to giving students the best possible resources.
“It’s another great day to be a Buck,” the district shared in a statement.
