The Permian Basin Bicycle Association (PBBA) will host its 48th annual Cyclefest this September, offering riders three tour distances and a new competitive race option through the scenic West Texas terrain.
Scheduled for September 19–21, 2025, the event will take place at Prude Ranch, located at 201 Prude Guest Ranch Rd, Fort Davis, TX 79734.
Cyclefest includes tour routes of 33, 54, and 73 miles. A new feature this year invites cyclists to “Sign up to RACE the Scenic Loop,” expanding options for those seeking a more competitive ride. On Sunday, riders can also participate in a hill climb race to the top of Mt. Locke, featuring a 6-mile ascent.
Registration opens May 15 on BikeReg.com, and participants can follow event updates on social media via Facebook and Instagram.

Packet Pickup: 5–9 p.m. - Saturday, September 20
Pre-Ride/Race Meeting: 7:30 a.m.
Race/Tour Start: 7:45–8 a.m.
Picnic at Prude: 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
Awards at Prude: 3 p.m. - Sunday, September 21
Hill Climb: 9 a.m.
